Horse rescued from ditch in Essex

[size=1em]Firefighters have rescued a horse which was stuck in a water-logged ditch in Essex.

[size=1em]28-years-old Ron was unable to get himself out of the ditch in Abbey Lane in Coggeshall, which was 8ft wide and 6ft deep.

[size=1em]Crews used specialist equipment to hoist the horse out of the ditch onto dry land.

[size=1em]Ron was kept calm through the incident by his owner and vet and luckily didn't suffer any injuries.
