把原文貼出來 The Shoulder-In Volte (From the Saddle)For some people it is easier to do this from the saddle. For some horses, too. From my experience a lot of horses are not used to someone handling them on either side. They are also used to being dragged around so that they have no forward urge at all unless omeone is in the saddle kicking on. They will turn to face you if you nudge their side, and not move forward on a small volte. These horses can be driven forward quite strongly with the whip and turned around yourself with the reins. But such horses also tend to be un-diciplined and lacking in respect, so they can actually kick at you. In this position you are too close for that. If you can't get the horse straightened out (honestly, if it's someone else's horse and they think dicipline is cruel to poor horsey...) you can do it from the saddle. It goes like this:
